Be Nice
I'm bringing a girl to New York in June, and I need you to be nice to her. She's very sensitive, and might not be able to grasp everything that you guys throw at her. Especially if you do it all at once. Just be nice.
Are you trying to say that we aren't naturally warm & friendly and "nice"? That we might scare her off with our highly developed senses of humor and friendly bantering?
You know you can't get serious about her anyway....at least until you can get Mom to start calling Drew by his correct name....
When in June are you going to be in Buffalo? I will have to plan to come so that I can help the rest of you be "nice" to Tom's girl...
Tommie, I want you to know you do have a nice family. And not to worrie about Andie getting scared off, I mean she can to put up with you, I am sure she can handle your family. love ya tommie
All I know is she's a great companion babysitter and she doesn't seem to mind spending at least one night a week bringing Tom to our house and sitting there while the kids mostly sleep, occasionally cry and go crazy. What more could you ask for?

I was thinking she was getting pretty good at ignoring just about anything I say...
Well, Tom, if she can put up with you and ignore most of what John says, I think she's well on her way to being able to handle the rest of the family
