A Date In Review
So this Friday, I went out with Melony Snitckers, at mom's request. It was a pretty good date. I drove all the way up to Murray. Got lost twice, but my car didn't break down. Hurray! We went to the drive-in, and saw Lady In the Water and Superman. Both were good. She's a funny girl. I think I'd like to go on another date with her, and I think she would with me. Cause I asked her. Ha. Then I got home at like 330 in the morning, and had to get up at like 7. I give it a 6 out of 10.

Adventures
You won't believe what happened to me the other night.
It was like 11pm and I was on my way to John's to help him put in an airconditioner. I came up to this innersection, where these two people were kinda going at it. One of them a guy comes over to me on his bike, so I roll down my window a crack. And I get a pretty good look at the guys... Complete white trash, dirty wifebeater, grisly looking fellow, not the look of a model citizen. He starts going off about how I need to call 911 cause this lady has started a fire. OK! So I pull my phone out and am about to start dialing, when I look around, and can't see a fire anywhere.I ask him, Where's the fire? His response, at ToysR'Us. Now I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure there ain't any toysrus anywhere close to where we are at.
Just at that moment the lady starts up about how I shouldn't listen to a thing this man says cause he's drunk, just got out of jail, and how he needs to go to the mental health hospital to get his prescriptions, and how she's scared of him, and I need to call the cops on him. Alright fair enough, so I guess I can't quite get out of it. I pull over to the side of the road, get out of the car, telling Andie to lock the doors behind me, and I call 911. I think that the police will be here in a couple of minutes, and that I can leave.
Oh no that is not the case. After a minute or so, I get the dispatcher, and tell her where I am, and what the emergency is. Then she puts me on hold! Why in the world would 911 put someone on hold? That being the case I know it's going to take a little bit longer then I expected. While this was going on, the lady had sauntered over to me and I realize something, she's probably mentally handicapped. Oh great just what I need. So she's up next to me now, and proceeds to tell me her entire life story, and why she's out here this night sitting on the side of the road...blablabla. However what was really making me nervous, was that this guy kept on leaving where I couldn't see him, and then coming back and yelling stuff. This did not put me in a good mood, I didn't know if he was going to get a gun, a knife, or just what he was doing. I was wondering if I should get my gun just to be on the safe side. I didn't cause if the police did show up and I did have a gun I would be in a bit of a pickle.
Just then the 911 operator came up again asked me the same questions, and then put me on HOLD again!!! I could not believe it, you have to be kidding me. Luckily not a lot happened until a few minutes later when the local Provo operator came on and told me that the police were on there way. Not 30 seconds after I hung up this guy came back. At this point I had enough. I said "Sir could you please go have a seat over there on the other side of the road." This really gets him pissed and he's like don't call me Sir, I don't need that, arrrrr. I go and am like "Bud go have a seat the Police will be here in a minute." As soon as that man heard police he was gone. Just up and scampered off. Thank goodness.
Not too much after that a police officer comes flying in. Hops out of his car and starts looking around for people, while he walks over to us. He starts getting the low down of what's going on, and this lady decides she needs to tell him her life story too. Then another police car swings in, and he jumps out of his car, finds out what's going on, and then the two of them start going after the guy.
I'm like hold on now, can I go or what do you want me to do? They say yeah you're fine you did a good job we won't need ya. OK, and I am out of there. Don't need them to tell me twice. And I go on my merry way to help John out.
Some people are just stupid.
